Pasilla Chili Pepper
Olam Spices’ pasilla chili pepper is slightly chocolatey with a light sweetness. This is a medium-hot pepper that is grown in Mexico and processed at the Olam Spices facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico. After the chilies are harvested, they arrive at our plant, where our processing team dries and grounds it into a dark red powder, with quality checks completed throughout the entire process. Then it is packed and shipped to our customers worldwide.
This delicious chili pepper product is best in complex Latin American and Mexican preparations such as mole negro sauce and roasted pork shoulder.
