Paprika 105 ASTA Irradiated
The bright red color of paprika is derived from the combination of Capsicum annuum varietals that make up this ground spice. It is often used as a spice or garnish.
Olam’s paprika is made of chilies that have been grown by our farmer partners in the Southwestern United States, specifically, New Mexico, Texas and Mexico. After months of cultivation, the chilies are harvested by our ag team and delivered to our processing facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico where it is dried, milled, irradiated and packed.
Our paprika can be used as a natural coloring in cream based dishes, casseroles, stews and even in savory applications such as Indian tandoori chicken.
